  • Prime interface with customer Technical Managers for all technical concerns.
  • Understand the customers strategy and manage his technical expectations
  • Follow up Network KPI to ensure the optimized usage of the deployed solution
  • In charge of identifying risks for both customer and Alcatel Lucent.
  • Advise the Customer on solution /technology / products that are the best fit..
  • Define and execute upgrades & retrofit strategies
  • In charge to build and manage the customer network configuration (HW & SW)
  • Manage Commissioning/Integration/O&M for both WCDMA and GSM.
  • RNC/Node B software upgrade.
  • Parameter modification on WMS using wps.
  • Identification and prioritization of network faults via network alarms; and escalating the faults accordingly to FLM Engineers and others responsible, to ensure that appropriate level of response is applied for speedy network fault resolution, and quick recovery from service failure.
  • Carry out integration on RNC and NodeB/Configuration
  • Engage in Radio Network Performance which include: planning, network Optimization and Radio tuning.
  • Carry out regular Network healthcheck on RNC (3.G).
  • Interface with FLM on site the resolution of critical/major/minor alarms on RNC and NodeB/ Carrying out of 3G network backups and storage on the central server.
  • RNC and Node B log collections.
  • Open ticket with TSO/follow up on the tcket,providing the TSO the necessary logs till resolution.
  • NodeB troubleshooting using WNMS anad telnet session.
  • RNC troubleshooting using WNMS and telnet session.
  • RNC troubleshooting using command mode.
  • Carrying out regular backup on the RNC and Node B
  • Carrying out a quarterly training for the entire region on NodeB
  • Re-integration of NodeB on the event of corrupt configuration version (CV)
  • Control board unit (CBU) replacement and loading/reloading of basic and backup CVs.
  • Preparing a weekly/monthly outage and maintenance report on Node Bs in the network.
  • Managing and coordination a team of 20 NOC Engineers. General hardware and software maintenance on NodeB
  • Operation and maintenance of RNC and Node B
  • RAN troubleshooting of RNC and Node B
  • Routine Health check of RNC and Node B
  • Test Commission and integration of RNC and NodeB
  • Upgrading software package for RNC and NodeB
  • Testing of Downlink data rate of HSDPA using Net per sec software and HSDPA


  • Conducting 3G Nodes Site acceptance test procedure (ATP)
  • Preventive maintenance on 3G Nodes
  • Transmission E1 Loop testing from NodeB to the RNC
  • On-site troubleshooting of NodeB alarms & fault clearing on 3G NodesB’s
  • Support Field Engineers in troubleshooting NodeB faults..
  • Producing and sending shift, KPI report to EMTS Management for planning purpose.
  • NodeB migration.
  • Fault Diagnosis, troubleshooting and escalation of faults on 2G/3G network.
  • Continuously reviews the unit/team activities, make recommendation for improvement and implement approved implement initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team.
  • Troubleshooting on the signaling link and interfaces; IUB IUCS,IUPS and IUR on command mode and on WNMS.
  • Training of young engineer 3G network architecture,WNMS Alarm management and general operation and maintainance on 3G Network.
  • Daily report to the RNC back office Engineer on the 3G network performance..
  • General hardware and software maintenance on NodeB
  • Integration and commissioning of RNC,NODEB's,BTS and BSC's.
  • Troubleshooting of NodeB, loading of backup CV, faulty hardware replacement and transmission
  • Training of NMC Engineers on expected Job Delivery and adherence to procedures.
