Responsibilities:

CREDIT AND RISK MANAGEMENT

Ensure that conditions of approval necessary for draw down were met.

Ensure safekeeping of all documents.

Ensure that credits are regularly monitored and occasional visit is made to customers.

Ensure that all level of authorities is involved in credit approval in line with organization policy.

Ensure that all credits are duly approved

Ensure that facilities are promptly liquidated at maturity

Ascertain that all post –disbursement covenants are complied with.

Monitoring ledger balances/customers accounts.

Liaising with company registrars and carrying out all routine tasks aimed at re-engineering and reviewing all business process. Such as:

Verification of transfers

Investigation of errors

Operation unit

Ensure daily call –over of posted transactions

Ensure and verification of client payments.

Post both stock and other transactions verified and approved.

Report trade errors to the relevant authority and carry out reconciliation.

Ensure that the cheque collection register is updated daily.

Ensure that unfunded purchase is picked by the exception system report and communicated to management.

Ensure that due process is followed in inter-members transactions

RELATIONSHIP /MARKETING

Ensure that marketing activities are documented for effective follow up

Ensure that cost of funds is reasonable and competitive to retain existing
