Signing contracts with new hotels to optimize the hotel portfolio

Renegotiate current contracts

Ensure contracts are in favour of the company

Conduct business trips to meet suppliers in person and build good relationships

Face to face or email/phone negotiations with hotels and negotiating rates

Overall responsibility for contracting terms and conditions, adhering to contract guidelines on the number of hotels

Ensure guidelines and processes are adhered to with regards to contract issuance, loading into systems, contents and validation

Assist and cooperate with team members and colleagues to solve destination/hotel specific issues

Provide timely and proper information about new suppliers and changes

Very quick system update and information to other departments and outlets for relevant information (last minute deals) and ensure follow-up

Anticipate upcoming challenges and provide alternative solutions

Coordinate with Finance Department for payment related issues

Assist Finance in cases of hotel related invoice problems

Timely reporting of major issues to Management

Search for ways to improve the operational efficiency

Perform other assignments as required and help other departments when needed

Negotiating conditions such as cancellation policy

Ensuring that team members perform tasks that have been assigned to them
