: Victoria B. Ayodele is a Microbiology/Virology, Reproductive Health Practitioner and trainer with background in Microbilogy/Virology and Education with more than 8 years of experience in Civil Society work particularly in Health and Education Program Management especially in the field of Reproductive Health, Education, Child care and Agriculture: As an experienced Health programmer, Victoria has expertise in organizational development, program design and management, institutional capacity building, performance improvement and personnel management. Ms. Victoria also possesses skills in Laboratory technology, RH service provision, Behavior Change Communication Strategy Development and implementation, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, and qualitative research methods. She is highly skilled in the conduct of training for different cadre of health providers on Reproductive Health, Child Spacing/Family Planning, Advocacy Skills Development, Community Mobilization and Outreaches. As well as skilled in the use of Participatory Learning and Action (Community Action Cycle and Partnership Defined Quality) approaches in addressing social sector needs of communities including Quality Improvement efforts at Health Facility level. Over 8 years experience working as a programmer for various Development Partners, domestic NGO and National Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that operates in Nigeria such as Fahimta Women and Youth Development Initiative, Action aid Nigeria, ARFH/ UNFPA project, USAID/TSHIP Project, Society for Family Health (SFH). Ms.Victoria is also experienced in forging partnership with: Development Partners, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Community Based Organizations (CBOs) as well as, States and Local Governments institutions. Ms. Victoria possesses skills in programming for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, HIV/AIDs Program (Home Base Care, HIV/AIDs Testing and Counseling, Prevention and Behavior Changes) and provided leadership and program direction towards Sponsorship program of Action aid Nigeria through child message Collection, Participate in the training of different cadre of health providers, head teachers and Non Governmental Organizations on Psychosocial and nutritional support for OVC and PLWAs. Partnered with and leveraged resources from other USAID implementing partners to ensure effective implementation of the project in Bauchi State. Effectively monitored, provided technical support on nutrition and psychosocial as well as the conduct PD Hearth for rehabilitating OVC and Community Based Growth Monitoring Practice at the community level. Also monitored the Distribution of OVC BCC materials and Standard of Practice [SOP ] to serve as guide lines, CBOs FBO, Head Teachers, SUBEB, MOWA and other relevant line ministries working on OVC and Education. Enforced the use of Child Survival Index tool by community coalitions and OVC caregivers to assess the wellbeing of OVC and take appropriate actions to remedy emergency situations. Facilitate the establishment of several CBO among which was STAH in Bayan gari, and AYDA in Gudum Sayawa community in Bauchi LGA and Provided technical support to them to access malaria global fund project in SFH in Gudum Sayawa and Igbo Quarter Communities of Bauchi Local Government Area in Bauchi State and also worked with several Communities and Wards in Bauchi among which were eighteen wards of Shira, LGA, Five communities in Bogoro LGA (Mbal, Gizaki, Gobbiya, U/Rimi and Dambar) and five communities of Kirifi LGA (Sindigawo, Lomi, Tubule, Kwagal and G/ Dawkwal), three communities in Ganjuwa and many others on Health, Agriculture and Education programs. Additionally, Ms. Victoria is skills in others areas such as resource mobilization, team building, coordination, facilitation and communication, logistics and information management. Ms. Victoria began her career in 2003 with the Bauchi Specialist Hospital as volunteer in the Microbiology Laboratory and later work with Unique Medical Lab and She later joined the Ideginious NGO in Bauch in 2007. She also participate fully in establishment of Association Of OVC NGO in Nigeria Bauchi chapter . Computer literate: skilled in the use of Micro soft word, Photo Manager, Excel and Microsoft Power Point.

Providing leadership in capacity building and in the technical areas of reproductive health/family planning (RH/FP)

Provide overall technical vision and guidance in the area of RH/FP

As a member of the project’s Core Team, provide leadership in RH/FP for the design of annual work plans, monitoring of program activities and ongoing assessment of technical assistance needs

Manage/support subcontractors, regional institutions, networks, relevant NGOs, collaborating organizations, and federal and state governments in Nigeria

Advise on regional and global “best practice” examples and their potential replicability, as well as opportunities for knowledge exchange among country-based institutions and/or individuals.

Assess technical capacity of regional institutions as appropriate. Collaborate with Collaborating Agencies implementing similar programming to ensure joint planning and coordination where appropriate. Perform technical reviews of grant applications and subcontractor scopes of work.

Succesfully manage the following project in the area of RH with the following donors

Responsibilities: Coordinating the linkages of Community children to their sponsor, through child message collection in ten communities of Bogoro and Kirifi LGA Bauchiurce development efforts of the organization in Bauchi State.

Also along with other staff developed effective strategies and work plans that contributed towards the standard of education in the state. Successfully liaised with, the communities to take lead in Advocacy in orther to Advocate to the Government of Bauchi State towards construction of Class rooms, VIP toilet and supplied of furniture. Monitored and provided over-sight function towards implementation of all the action aid programs.

Selected Achievements: Using REFLECT Methodology and Community Action Cycle Approach, Community members were empowered to initiate actions to resolve some of their social sector needs.
