Strategic business Planning

Covers the resources and services requirements identification and budgetary preparation for routine operations or on a project by project basis or as part of organization’s overall growth plan. I provide formal deliverables, fully documented and actionable plans that details the roles and responsibilities of all the stakeholders (user groups, budget holders and the manager accountable for the business objective) with overall objective to provide justification for investments

Contract Management

As a strategic operational function focusing on the execution of business goals and objectives and clear ownership for the successful execution and completion of the contract.

Responsible for providing complete support from award to close out of the contracting activities in order to ensure that the company derives the best value from contract. Within the team, develop understanding of the end users’ needs and experience in negotiating and managing complex client/ contractor relationships that ensure the client company’s interest is preserved at all times during the execution of the contract.

 Liaise with Primary Mortgage Institutions (PMI)s to ensure proper accounting for sale of houses.

 Attend to all banking requirements as and when due.

 Liaise with funding bodies to ensure proper processing of the company’s cheques.

 Oversee the accounting department and its functions.

 Oversee the admin department and its functions.

Key Projects:

N500m Greenland Estate loan facility - As deal facilitator, I was responsible for deal initiation, packaging and relationship management with Federal Mortgage Bank. I also ensure Greenland Engineering Limited (the beneficiary) meet all requirements of the facility and proper disbursement of fund – the deal resulted in successful completion of 219 medium-cost housing units.

 Oversee cash unit and all cash transactions.

 Ensure smooth day – day running of the branch.

 Stand as back up for the BM when absent.

 Ensure cash flow is kept at optimum level.

 Ensure all security measures are put in place for a hitch free operation.

 Ensure customers are well attended within the shortest possible time.

 Render every other assistance as may be needed by other depts. / units

 Render weekly/monthly returns as required on cash activities.

 Liaise with other branches as regards cash movement/requirement.

 Liaise with the HOP on the best way to move the branch forward and make profit.

 Ensure strict compliance with laid down policies and procedures.

 Undertake other ad-hoc functions as assigned from time to time.

 Oversee all activities of the branch.

 Book term loans as approved by management

 Ensure adequate security is put in place to safe guard life and property of the bank.

 Ensure the well being of colleagues and staff alike in the branch.

 Supervise and ensure that all term deposits are within the approved rate as determined by the money market and approved by management before being booked.

 Ensure all accounts are properly opened or closed as the case may be.

 Ensure all accounts are correctly tagged according to sectors and accounts source / accounts officer.

 Ensure all income are realized as and when due.

 Oversee all expenses incurred with a view to cutting down on them.

 Carry out weekly in-house training to ensure that staff are in tune and up dated on the developments within the bank and financial sector at large.
