To establish and maintain positive customer relationships, plan and deliver an effective short term marketing strategy to facilitate the achievement of the department’s long term goals. To monitor the progress of new and existing segment-tailored products; as well as provided information on team activities to support departmental decision making on day-to-day basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To mobilize Savings and promote the Bank’s product.
- Prepare weekly marketing plans and strategies for liability generation to enable team members achieve targeted growth objectives.
- Develop and obtain approval for weekly marketing plan and strategies for segment’s designated products ranges to enable achievement of targeted growth and profit objectives.
- Monitor and control team’s income and expenditure to ensure profitability.
- Recommend the creation of risk assets to increase business office profitability.
- Ensure that team-generated risk assets are adequately processed and monitored.
- Interacting with a diverse and wide-ranging customer’s base, providing help and information as appropriate regarding products, sales and marketing strategies.
- Facilitating, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with new and existing customers.
- Managing and coordinating the affairs of the unit as Head/Supervisor.
- Assumption of office procedures and duties in the absence of my Superiors.
- Evaluate market research and competitor analyses in order to formulate marketing plans and strategies.
- Providing strategic direction and operational support to team members.
- Coaching and motivating team members to effectively execute their day-to-day tasks to meet corporate targets and delivery objectives.
- Effectively communicating to team members the policies, objectives and targets of the bank.
- Contribute to the effective launching of new products to ensure favorable market response and optimum build-up of revenue.
- Ensuring the effectiveness of day to day activities in my team and the marketing department entirely.
- Representing the team within the department, bank and wider community.
- Sourcing for new market opportunities by carrying out extensive market research, Business to Business marketing and participating in public product demonstrations.
- Loan Management, administration, monitoring and recovery.
- Overseas the activities of Customer Interactive Centers (CIC) in my coverage area i.e. Mpape, Dutse, Kubwa, Dei dei, Bwari, Zuba and Madalla for effectiveness and productivity as Hub Head.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
