The project sought to disseminate knowledge of Climate change, adaptation and mitigation measures through agriculture and natural resources management by highlighting community action and providing a clear vision of urgent priority actions for women in communities. The objectives included:

  • To disseminate knowledge on climate change linkage to agriculture and natural resource sectors;
  • Improve communication of climate change issues through social structures in 2 pilot communities in Abuja & Lagos, Nigeria.
  • Establish linkage between social and institutional structures to improve awareness on daily activities and implication for climate change;
  • Project identification and proposal development and led advocacy campaign to combat climate change through advocacy and behavioural change
