Oversees and manages the organizations plan to be certified in ISO9001.2008 Quality Management System as well as Environmental, Health and Safety Management System and functions. Focal point of all regulatory related EHS/QMS issues providing guidance and direction for the business EHS/QMS goals and objectives.
Coordinate during AES Corporation, external and internal Quality, Health, Safety and Environment audits. Further to assist and follow up for corrective actions in order to ensure closure of all these findings. Facilitate “root cause” analysis of reported incidents/accidents/non conformities, such as: near misses, personal injury and assure timely reporting of investigation results.
Develop and continually train the organizations’ personnel in environmental, health, safety and quality standards and best practices as well mentor them on auditing skills to meet the ever changing needs for continual improvement.
Provides technical and operational guidance to the business. Coordinates and ensures operational compliance with industry and corporate standards. Negotiates with Third party vendors on all aspect of the business which includes but not limited to the regulatory, operational, insurance and commercial areas. Supports the development and implementation of business plans both in the short, medium and long terms. Provide adequate support for the preparation of the business annual budget expense and revenue. Provides back up support for the business development team.
