DUTIES

  • Tracing the appropriate Right Of Way (ROW)
  • Inspection to ensure client specification and standard such as excavation of 1mx1m.
  • Inspection of pipe, pipe fittings, flanges, etc for damage prior to installation.
  • Analysis of isometric drawing to ensure correct installation of spools, valves, etc by the pipe fitters.
  • Analysis of P&ID to understand the instrument and equipment to be installed and particular lines.
  • Regular update of welding log.
  • Marking and taping the welded joints to avoid corrosion and misinterpretation of joints during radiography.
  • Controlling of daily welding report (DWR) and field inspection report (FIR).
  • Verification of dimension orientation and location of pipes/pipe fittings.
  • Supervision of fabrication of spools by welders and fitters and their installations.
  • Supervisions of hydro-testing of completed lines to obtain the rating standard of the client.
  • Ensure reinstatement and alignment of removed spools and valves after hyro-testing.
  • Inspection of bolt and nut tightening.
  • Ensure reinstatement of removed hard core with BRC on the replaced lines (if any).
