I was Involved in data gathering, Determination of applicable rules, regulations, design codes, Route planning and design Pipeline Sizing: Determination of diameter required to transport product by flow analysis, Material selection, wall thickness, Analysis on the Various loads to be considered which includes pressure, temperature, self-weight, natural occurring forces due wave, current, etc. Other loads, namely, installation loads, dropped objects, impact, earthquakes, etc., are also considered. Also I was actively involved in the determination of Corrosion protection to be employed for both internal as well as external of the pipeline, On-bottom stability design of the pipeline due to environmental factors, I was also involved in the consideration of all seabed configuration conditions during design, Construction, testing and operational. Application of International Codes and Standards such as PD 8010 part 1&2, DNV-OS-F101 2007, Code B31.4 and B31.8, API 1111 and API 5L and ISO13623 alongside Company specifications for MOBIL (MPN Specs) and SPDC Nigeria (DEP)
