Control all routine aspects relating to the generation of account numbers in opening of current and savings accounts according to laid –down instructions.
Ensure complete KYC documentations on all accounts are obtained and treated as per laid –down procedure.
Advise relationship managers whether accounts have been approved or decline.
Process accounts transferred in from another branch or opened on behalf of other branches according to laid-down instructions.
Package and forward all accounts created to KYC Centre for further processing.
Account Reaction Action reaction requests per laid-down policy
Prepare new mandates for personal and savings accounts, where necessary and ensure that they are captured on system as per laid down procedure.
Check to ensure no standing payment order mandates on file.
Request full legal searches on new corporate accounts as well as track same with legal Department and recover relative charges.
Complete information relevant to mandates, investments etc on audit certificates.
Ensure mandates are forwarded to OPC/KYC Centre as per laid down procedure
Verify signatures for OPC and other units as may be required.
Attend to written inter-account transfer instructions.
Ensure that account holder records are kept updated.
Attend to inward and outward mail for own area
