Obtain an understanding of the accounting systems and internal controls to assist in designing audit
procedures and evaluate those controls in order to identify material deficiencies and recommend possible measures
to mitigate potentials risks.
Audit of all the financial Statement balances such as cash and bank balances, stock, prepayment, accruals and other payables, cost of sales, operating expenses, capitalized cost and Depreciation & amortization computations, intercompany balances.
Prepare audit summary memorandum and other appendixes for group reporting.
Assist team lead in the finalization of the financial statements and audit files.
Convey audit progress to the engagement team lead and manager and also monitors the projects against the budget and deadlines.
Coaching of subordinates and reviewing their work papers noting areas of improvement.
Audit of various financial statement balances such as cash and bank balances, fixed asset, cost of sales operating expenses, accruals and prepayments among others.
Convey task progress to engagement team lead and manager.
Evaluating client’s internal control and proposing recommendations for identified deficiencies
