  • Responsible for safety induction/safety training of new hire and evaluation of BINL crew, work with training centre team to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for keeping record and maintenance of all safety and health equipment at the base including vessels.
  • Responsible for the timely renewals of certificate/permit for safety equipment at the base
  • Responsible for conducting regular drill at the base and keeping records appropriately.
  • Responsible for checking the vessel safety document that includes drills, JSA. Toolbox talks records.
  • Keep records of all HSE incident/ accidents for the fast crew boat/jetty office operation.
  • Interface with all department and person in Amadi base to address any outstanding issues resulting from accident involving FCBs.
  • Conduct and follow up audit findings in FCB and Amadi base operations with a view to closing all non conformities to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct and keep track of B-Safe cards from Amadi base and FCBs operations and forward to safety manager.
  • Responsible for environmental hazards prevention and management at base in line with company policies.
  • Evaluate and monitor contractor’s compliance to safety management systems.
  • Responsible for proper housekeeping for the safety of the material and personnel
  • Help to organize emergency drill. Making sure that personnel work with valid work permit.
  • Ensure that sectional heads carry out their tool box meeting before operations
  • Following up of the pre-mob of the equipments by the third patty Ensuring that NON DESTRUCTIVE TEST (NDT) is conducted on the welded joints and on the lifting eyes of the equipment.
