EPIC project of Pan Ocean 200MMSCF/D Ovade Ogharefe Gas Processing Plant, Phase II

Coordinated the team of engineers (Mechanical & Civil) , surveyors, special fields (Welders, Carpenters, Mason, Primers, Painters ) and community employed helpers to executing the EPIC Project of NPDC Oredo 2X20,000bbls capacity crude oil storage tanks and the on-going EPIC project of Pan Ocean 200MMSCF/D Ovade Ogharefe Gas Processing Plant, Phase II


Assisting the project manager where applicable in day to day duties of project administration

Establishing a distribution structure for project information

Assisting in plan and spec analysis in order to provide clear, track able and coordinated interpretations of the design / drawings for construction research and recommend solutions to design document problems

Monitoring field work, including contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specification and codes

Modifying project plan and coordinate change with participants as necessary in respect to unforeseen changes or unexpected developments

Completed and commissioned the re-routing of the Phase I flare line in order to create a safe working environment for the Phase II project.

Established a staging area for the project take-off

With POOC approval, established a temporary gate within POOC existing gate linking the permanent flare project site and the Phase II project site.

Coordinated the Surveyors in setting out points for skid foundations

Coordinated all civil works which involves excavation, blinding, budding, setting of rebar and foundation casting of the major equipments skids

Coordinated the arrangement and packing of all project equipments arriving from United States

Reviewed the submitted generic HSE plan to suite the specific project HSE plan as requested by Pan Ocean Oil company

Developed the project journey management and waste management plan

Developed the project accident reporting and investigation procedure

Ensure the security of all project equipments that arrived from U.S

Introduction of positive HSE culture via Monthly HSE meetings, Management reviews, Audits, Emergency drills, incident reporting etc.

Ensure the installation and maintenance of all necessary safety equipments such as fire alarm, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors etc. in all branches of the company.

Carried out all necessary HSE documentation and presentation works as required by DPR that scale the company through NIPEX audit

Scheduled all staff for HSE trainings as it relates to their job

Developed the HSE plan and job hazard analysis for the Nigerian work scope of an EPIC contract; Ovhor Concrete Barge Mounted Flow station

Participated fully in the U.S work scope of the EPIC Contract of Ovhor Concrete Barge Mounted Flow station and attended the review meetings such as: Design reviews (Preliminary & Detail), HAZOP, HAZID, SAFOP, SIL Classifications, Alarm rationalization studies meeting etc. All these meetings took place in U.S.A.

Also participated in carrying out the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) of the project critical equipments and this took us round most of the states in America.
