  • Led the forays of the company into outsourcing thus increasing the product offering to the company.
  • Introduced products like Shirts. Blouses, Casual Trousers and Accessories resulting in a first turnover of US $ 1.5 Millions.
  • Introduced a top of the line Suit range with premium Italian fabrics from Mills like Loro Piana, Zegna, Tessisltrona , Reda etc, The Suits were priced as high as US $ 3000 per pc. And also started the Made To Measure business for the company.
  • Assisted the Sales Team in increasing the presence across multi brand stores.

Raymonds is one of the most respected name in Indian Textile and Apparel Retail segments, with about 500 exclusive stores and about 10000 other multi-brand counter stocking and selling the brand.

Reporting to the Commercial Head, was assisting him in handling the buying of about US $ 50 Million worth of merchandise to be sold under the brand.

Significant Contributions

  • Pioneered the concept of outsourcing , made ups in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka into India, benefiting from the trade agreements India had with these countries.
  • Assisted in the concept of developing and launching 100 New SKUs every 3 Months
  • Was instrumental in reducing the Lead times to 100 Days from Concept to Store
  • Achieved a OTIF of 95%
