v Lead/coordinate HSE inspections, audit and incidents investigation to prevent accident/losses, ensure adequacy of equipment and their integrity.
v Ensure company wide compliance with company’s HSE standards, procedures, policies and regulatory requirements.
v Identify staff HSE training gaps and propose appropriate and adequate training measures to close same.
v Monitor operations and assist with risk assessments, lift plans and toolbox talks.
v Attends and participates as appropriate in Contractors safety meeting.
v Reports near misses and incidents immediately they happen and participate in incident reporting investigation and follow up.
v Look for work related hazards and report them to the site rep.
v Participates in organised safety walkabouts as appropriate.
v Participates in Risk Assessment development and monitors implementation
