  • The candidate would be required to handle all recruitment processes from advertisement to placement of suitable candidates.
  • He is expected to prepare the induction programme for all new employees.
  • Must be abreast of manpower development and Training techniques.
  • Coordinate the job descriptions of all employees.
  • A sound knowledge of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management.
  • A good knowledge of the Nigerian Labour law.
  • Must be able to handle all union related issues.
  • Must be able to initiate and implement the Human
  • Resources policies of the company from time to time.
  • The coordination of the staff remuneration/Appraisal in line with the company policy.
  • The implementation of the company’s statutory obligations as it relates to the pension reform Act of 2004, Group Life Insurance, Industrial Training Funds, - Employees compensation Act of 2010, the staff medical schemes and any other statutory obligation (s) from time to time.
  • The compilation of staff data for Management decision making from time to time.
  • Administration of the staff attendance and payment of monthly salary.
  • The candidate would be required to perform any other functions given to him by his superiors from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Mgt/Business Administration. An MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Must be a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
  • Maximum of 40 years.
  • Minimum of 10 years out of which at least 5-6 years must be in a large construction industry.
  • Good computer skills and experience of liaisoning with Government departments/agencies.
  • Must be smart and dynamic with capacity to work extended hours when the need arises.
