About seven years hands-on experience as Administrative/Human Resources Personnel; five of which I have actively expanded in the Oil and Gas Industry as Human Resources Officer/Generalist.

Presently performs administrative support duties to the Head of Human Resources and Development in the capacity of HR Generalist.

DESCRIPTION OF PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCES

Position: Human Resource Generalist (DESICON Engineering Limited, 87 Woji Road, GRA, Port Harcourt)

August 2010 till date

Responsibilities:

· Work with the Head of Human Resources and Development to coordinate core areas of HR Viz: recruitment, selection and placement, Personnel Administration, Training and development, Labor Relations and HR Planning.

· Coordinate all cadres of recruitment and handle recruitment logistics (advertise for job vacancies, screen applications, carry out professional tests, short list candidates and ensure candidates match personnel requisition needs).

· Engage in contract negotiation with employees to suit company’s policies and industry standards

· Compile and keep personnel records. Record data for each employee, such as address, absences, reports from employment records.

· Search employee files and furnish information to authorized persons
