Analyze and verify POS requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility and conformity to industry standards. Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately concisely write testing documents. Translate conceptual user requirement into POS test requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team. Design test scripts, and run/monitor POS performance tests on new and existing releases for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas of improvement, and general debugging. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for POS configuration and application modifications, and other post-implementation support. Produce reports and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging and tracking. Liaise with operations team, network administrators and software engineers to assist with quality assurance, program logic and data processing. Liaise with company’s software and hardware vendors for problem escalation. Install POS software products for users as required. Provide guidance to staff members on new software release functionality Represent the company in payment terminals and payment application certification process with Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System plc.
