Compliance Auditor/Risk &Security Consultant - MOD/Defense

Primary responsibilities:

Responsible for the project managing and effective auditing the KBR Incident management systems as applied to the Defense Services sector. This project was in a budget range of 1.5 million, project sponsors were Head of procurement & Defense Service Quality Manager. Project size was 4 core team members plus 3rd party teams (suppliers & developers).

  • Successfully project managed the upgrade to the e-Procurement tool and the H&S Incident Reporting tool for Water Bottle project in Afghanistan.
  • Successfully engaged project owners and obtain buy-in to the changes to the incident reporting tool. Obtained sign off for produced Business Requirement documentation to capture the changes to the existing tools.
  • Risk assessment, risk management framework, security policies, standards(ISO 27001), procedures for continual improvement, the involvement of 'top management', customer satisfaction, process-based systems, measuring effectiveness and efficiency
  • Planning, conducting, reporting and surveillance on an external audit
  • Worked with the SAP technical teams and 3rd party suppliers to ensure all enhancements were delivered by deadline and all critical path milestones were met.
  • Set up governance groups and conducted check-point meetings at different levels.
  • Provided Quality Assurance to Project deliverables via my role as an Internal Auditor.
  • Successfully audited the entire process and worked with the processes owners to change the process to fit the newly enhancement incident reporting tool.
  • Facilitate and conduct Vendor Assessments for programmer suppliers.
  • Monitor sub-contractors as required to maintain Quality Integrity.
  • Monitor Risk Review & Mitigation process and provide inputs where necessary.
  • Ensured all required quality standards are met for both hardware and software.
  • Follow-up on corrective and/or improvement actions assigned by senior managers
