Roles & Responsibilities:

 Manage and maintain all inventory functionalities on the company’s comprehensive stock database *SAGE PASTEL such as items, item categories, warehouse, stores, suppliers etc.

 Manage warehouse to ensure safe and adequate material storage of stock such as drugs, medical/surgical consumables, domestic and stationery items to fuel use to power the business and enforcement of procedure to curb expiry, material write-off and obsolescence.

 Ensure integrity of inventory processes i.e. proper documentation and posting of all items in each and every units, sections and departments upon receiving/issuing of such items electronically.

 Generating weekly and monthly cost/utilization, reports of all stores and locations to the management.

 Stock management and also engaging in a reconciliatory task of comparing system values with physical counts of all stores in order to ascertain the value of stock at end of each month.

 Overseeing stock control and processing orders: determine stock holding levels, capacity utilization, usage rates and re-order level.

 Attending to and monitoring urgent enquires and issues, that are brought up to management direct attention and where necessary, referring matters to the appropriate line managers for action.

 Planning and monitoring the deliveries, storage, arrangement and dispatch of goods and consumables.

 Ensuring that all appropriate safety regulations/standards are being followed with regards to personal health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment to prevent health risks/hazards and material theft.

 Manage the company’s inventory databases to ensure optimum stocking, scheduled delivery to avoid pressure on cash flow and as well ensure zero material stock out.

 Overseeing and synchronizing the activities/efforts of the base to function harmoniously so as to attain organization’s objectives as well as to comply with Standard Organization Practice (SOPs).
