o Represented the Federal Government of Nigeria in a legal challenge to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s recapitalization and restructuring of a major Nigerian bank.
o Represented a variety of companies in various commercial disputes, claims and negotiations
o Represented Nigeria’s state-owned oil corporation in a multi-jurisdictional post-arbitration oil and gas dispute with a value exceeding $200 million.
o Represented a major Chinese state-owned multinational oil corporation in a dispute with its Nigerian joint venture partner over the billion dollar acquisition of a multinational oil company.
o Represented Nigeria’s state-owned oil corporation in a post arbitration dispute with a multinational oil and gas company over a multi-million dollar supply contract.
o Represented a US oil and gas company in negotiations with its joint venture partners and the Federal Government of Nigeria in its efforts to amend the terms of its production sharing contract with its partners.
o Negotiated Syndicated Loan Agreement and other finance documents between an infrastructural development company and a consortium of banks in respect of the construction of an airport hotel and conference centre in Lagos.
o Represented an infrastructural development company in law suits challenging the validity of a concession agreement between the company and the Federal Government of Nigeria for the construction of a new domestic airport terminal.
o Advised on corporate restructurings/re-organisations for several companies.
o Provided Company Secretarial and Legal Advisory Services such as keeping detailed records of company activities including but not limited to attending shareholders/board meetings, taking accurate minutes of proceedings thereat, maintaining minutes’ books and other relevant registers, filing the necessary returns with regulators such as the Corporate Affairs Commission and advising on proper corporate governance principles.
