As a Mobile Money Business Change Consultant at MTN, I was responsible for the deployment, implementation, support and management of the application across different geographical regions. Helping clients articulate their vision, strategy and also delivering customer training around the payment solutions.

This exposure affords me insight into varied approaches taken with payments in these regions, allowing anyone I work for the benefit of this diverse exposure.

  • Report to Head Mobile Money MTN west& Central Africa on the progress from deployment stage, acceptance test (UAT) phase to Live phase. Also report on implementation of new integration points.
  • Supervise and work with mobile Money Back Office Team (WECA) during UAT to ensure that all integration points, transactions, registration, notification etc work accurately.
  • Review the test documents prepared by the testers. Once the deployment is completed, perform a final Acceptance test (UAT) of the Mobile Money system and ensure signoff is done by MTN.
  • Gather detailed requirements that clearly and completely define the project.
  • Assess the Mobile Money system and determine how well it meets the original project objectives.
  • Ensure that customer deadlines are met within project time frame and project budgets.
  • Work with management and the Mobile Money team to create solutions to problems resulting from the transition.
  • Manage, configure and deploy the Fundamo software system.
  • Setting up of MTN MobileMoney platforms on Test, Production and DR platforms.
