Ensuring the expected flow of the logistics activities in the plant i.e. stock transfers, FEFO compliance, Good-House-Keeping (GHK), Product Availability, Turn-Around-Time (TAT) reduction, zero stock shortages & breakages; while maintaining proper documentation and a motivated workforce. I am also responsible for the full compliance with the Change Management Actions for SAP and the training of its end users.
Ensuring the smooth operation of all company’s concerns in the location, while optimizing both human and material resources at disposal. Responsibilities include stock inventory management, human resources management for the more than 100 personnel, Good – House – Keeping (GHK) and product availability, and truck maintenance & maximization.
Being in-charge of all raw materials transactions in Owerri plant, i.e. receipt of items from central store and third party contractors as well as issuance to user departments. The proper documentation of such transactions, stock balancing and reconciliation.
Understudying and carrying out tasks in the logistics function of Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC. These include: inventory management & stock reconciliation, increasing the efficiency of our warehouse & haulage resources; cross-functional management training and participation; plant on – the – job attachments geared towards understanding the unique operations in such locations; participating in all logistics operations while on plant attachment; being major change agents in meeting the company’s objectives; coming up with recommendations and initiating projects designed to improve our operations.
Assisting as well as understudying human resource practices such as recruitment, selection and placement, performance appraisal and job evaluation, training needs assessment, test development and validation, union – management relations, statistical analyses of employee behaviour, executive coaching and mentoring, management style matching, trend analysis and forecasting.
Teaching and assessing Nigerian Military and Para-Military officers and men on course, relevant aspects of Psychology such as: Introductory Psychology, Military Psychology, Cognitive and personality Psychology, Leadership and executive development, motivation, morale and efficiency, Behaviour modification, Stress management and performance under pressure.
