Define IT strategy, plans, policies, projects and service levels for the Group.
Establish IT governance frameworks for IT Project Management, IT Service Management, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, IT Quality Assurance and Service Performance Management.
Coordinate the selection and procurement of hardware and ensure that they are functional, properly maintained, and able to support the company’s business objectives.
Coordinate training/capacity building activities for newly developed application systems.
Oversee the maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with various service providers and interact with vendors to identify and resolve problems as the need arises.
Keep abreast of developments and trends in the IT world and proactively ensure the adoption of relevant practices or technologies.
Coordinate the establishment and implementation of a Quality Management System to include a solutions life-cycle environment of testing, development, staging/QA and production systems.
Ensure prompt Quality Assurance review of ongoing projects.
Manage disruptions and incidents; deploy upgrade and Patches release to improve business applications.
Translate end-user requirements into systems/functional specifications and integrate core business system with external interfaces and other applications.
Provide design /frameworks to automate business processes using applications and conduct information systems effectiveness, review and ensure efficient IT project & program management.
Manage VOIP infrastructure and rollout; conduct network fault and performance analysis. Implement disaster recovery procedures when necessary and ensure backups are taken and delivered off site.
Monitor major security violations and changes to security policies and manage user rights/privileges in a database.
