  • Providing first line support, troubleshooting and resolving of all network related faults i.e. core (switching), Transmission (radios, Mux, ADM, etc).
  • Perform NMC duties as instructed by NMC Co-ordinator, e.g., correlation of outages, adjustment of availability parameters, monitoring traffic flow, success rate and failure rate, follow-up and clearing of specific network faults using the LMT.
  • Ensuring transmission cutover (radio, satellite, fibre, SDH backbone, PDH links), route expansion and BTSs cutover are properly implemented and in line with service level agreements.
  • Remote Troubleshooting of alarms on Huawei NodeB’s (BTS3812E, BTS3900, DBS3900), BBU3900 and RRU3220 equipments.
  • Good knowledge of RNC (BSC6800, BSC6810 and BSC6900) functionalities.
