Provide quality assessment, case management, counselling, referral and follow up services at all times to clients.
Provide initial crisis intervention counselling to clients as requested and needed.
Provide support to the client during medical examinations and other procedures as requested
Providing training and information on HIV/AIDS to health professionals and care/support workers who may have clients/patients who are infected or affected.
Create and raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in schools and teach simple, effective prevention methods including importance for regular testing.
Provide advice and support including safer sex, HIV prevention and living well with HIV to service users in one to one, group and telephone settings.
Keep client records up to date by recording all interactions and their outcomes.
Offer counselling on any problems, emotional, social and financial, which the clients may have.
Ensure that client and data confidentiality is maintained
