Responsibilities included profiling customers to ensure that their financial needs or objectives are being met by providing the appropriate products and services.
Responding to inbound telephone calls to the branch, responding to all visits and telephoned customer inquiries.
Account opening (current, savings, fixed deposit account etc).
Processing of clearing cheques(inward and outward).
Issuing of manager’s cheque, re-issuing of manager's cheque, liquidation of manager’s cheque.
Fix deposit booking.
Daily reconciliation of the general ledger (sundries) accounts, collation and monitoring of daily expenses.
Ensuring the cash in the vault is within its limits and also ensuring safe custody of items in the vault.
Ensuring that the tellers adhere to the bank's policies and also ensuring good cash balance position of their till.
Ability to adhere to bank’s policies and procedures to ensure that branch operations are in alignment with audit guidelines.
