- Screening telephone calls, enquiries and request, and handling them when appropriate;
- Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments;
- Dealing with correspondence, including emails, faxes and post, and often corresponding on behalf of Chairman;
- Taking dictation and minutes, producing documents, reports and presentations
- Organising and attending meetings and ensuring Chairman is well prepared for meetings;
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff;
- Deputising for Chairman, making decisions and delegating work to others in his absence
- Organising corporate events
- Dealing with high amounts of the Chairman's personal work, including matters not related to the business
- Assisting the Chairman in dealing with various international business relationships.
- Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, filing, etc.
