  • Implementation of project procurement processes within assigned.
  • Executes procurement plans to support business and operational needs based on requirements stated in the business plans and budgets of the oganization departments.
  • Makes useful recommendations for cost savings for more efficient and effective procurement and service delivery.
  • Ensures the needs of requestors are proactively identified and met; takes appropriate actions by handling request orders, supporting tendering/bid management processes, contract negotiation, price management, service delivery, vendor management and communication efforts with suppliers.
  • Interface management within CLIENT project- and line organization and the contracted engineering partner with respect to all commercial issues and for the award of contracts related to the assigned project in accordance with CLIENT Procurement Guidelines
  • Reviewing Purchase orders and faxing to vendors
  • Resolving errors on purchase orders as required.
  • Investigating and determining what/how/ why material came in incorrectly or damaged (for non conformances).
  • Reviewing open Purchase Orders not printed.
  • Monitoring price increases and communicating changes as necessary.
  • Assisting with stock rotations as needed.
  • Reviewing line points/ order points for inventory stock levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.
