 Ensure Contractor`s compliance to SPDC HSE rules and standards.

 Ensure Goal Zero is achieved in every activity on site.

 Monitor and evaluate contractor`s HSE performance.

 Review project HSE/Security Plan when necessary.

 Collate, analyze and submit weekly HSE reports, monthly Exposure man-hour, Unsafe Act/Unsafe Condition/Near Miss reports and incident report to site supervisor and SPDC site rep and make recommendations for safety improvement.

 Promote safety awareness and enlightenment campaigns on site to build a good HSE culture.

 Carry out routine checks on Contractor`s equipment and tools.

 Ensure Contractor works without impacting the environment negatively.

 Carry out periodic audits on Contractor to ensure compliance to schedules and HSE Programmes.

 Keep records of Contractor`s daily HSE performance on site and transmits same to client

 Reporting and closing out of high potential hazards

 Review of project Job Hazard Analysis

 Ensuring that there are policies and procedures in place to keep workplaces safe.

 Collate, analyze and process Monthly Man-hour

 Arrange with the management and issue awards to the best practicing Safety personnel.

 Periodically patrol the work site to verify that the work is carried out under safe conditions, with no violations of safety requirements.

 Advice site Supervisors and Workers of corrective action when any unsafe conditions or violations are observed.

 Check each work procedure from the safety point of view and advise the Site Supervisors before commencement of work and, or while working

 Carry out HSE meetings and drills as indicated in this HSE plan

 Maintain the published LFIs and other HSE communications

 Ensure that daily toolbox meeting in conducted before commencement of the job every day.

 Check on the use of all types of personal protective equipment, evaluate effectiveness and suggest improvements.
