Build capacity of partner organizations and personnel to implement quality projects in Uganda

  • Built partner capacities in monitoring and evaluation, identification of projects, project design and development, Project cycle management, Strategic Project Management, Effective partnerships, Human Resource Management, Service delivery, Partnering/External relations, Finance Management, and Sustainability
  • I conducted technical and organizational needs assessment for 4 partner organizations and designed/prepared/delivered appropriate tailor made trainings for partner organizations.
  • I built the capacity of partner organizations to collect reliable project information, to compile and report on it and to use it to monitor project activities.
  • I was involved in designing guidelines for ‘best practice’ and to be responsible for the implementation of ‘best practice’ in all GOAL and partner’s activities.

Managed partnerships with CBOs/NGOs and Local Governments in Uganda

3. Personnel Management

  • I ensured that any staff required for project are recruited, briefed and adequately supervised and that they do not act in a manner that could bring the organization into disrepute;
  • I monitored and supported to improve the performance of all staff reporting directly and supervise those responsible for managing other staff;
  • I ensured that regular appraisals for staff performance are carried out at all levels and that training and other needs are identified and where possible are met, in order to improve staff performance.
