OML 100 (FIRE WATER SYSTEM UPGRADE) 2009 – 2010:

SCOPE: Identification and performing all Basic Engineering and Design Activities necessary for the upgrade of the FIRE WATER & DELUGE SYSTEM.

1. ODP1 & ODD1:

  • Design a Fire Water (FW) loop to ensure fully redundant FW supply on both platforms;
  • Design deluge system to ensure fully redundant protection of all deluge equipment (including future equipment);
  • Sizing verification of existing FW network/Deluge system, in order to determine opportunity for re-use;

ESCRAVOS RIVER CROSSING (ERC) 2009 - 2010

SCOPE: Detailed Engineering Design of a 400mmscfd Gas transmission pipeline.

The Escravos River Crossing (ERC) Pipeline scope of work consists of installing additional pipeline capacity to deliver gas to the NGC gas grid across the river from the Escravos Gas Plant. The preliminary pipeline sizing targeted capacity to deliver 400 MMSCFD for future excess processing capacity.

Responsibility:

  • PSV and Line sizing.(API 14E,API 526,521, GPSA etc)
  • Valve and Line list.
  • Carry out preliminary and basic engineering studies/in-house design

Preparation of data sheets,

  • Understudy and Review of P&ID drawings for necessary modifications base on engineering standards (ANSI, ASME, and API).

NGC/NNPC - ESCRAVOS LAGOS PIPELINE (ELP) (2008)

SCOPE (PHASE II): Detailed Engineering Design of 1100 mmscfd Gas transmission

pipeline from OBEN node to Itoki node (36’’X 342Km) including 3

intermediate pigging stations and associated supporting facility.

Detail scope:

  • Performing lines, and PSV calculation notes.
  • Development and review of P&IDs, PDFs, line list, valve list etc
  • Preparation of various Datasheets for equipments and instrumentations e.g. pressure safety valve,
  • I was among the team that Carried out corrosion studies on pipeline using Hydrocor 99 spread sheet.
  • Design of pig launchers and pig receivers in accordance with. ASME B31.8
  • PSV, Equipment and Line sizing.
  • Carry out simulation studies i.e. hydraulic and hydrate studies using Aspen Hysys.

SCOPE (PHASE I): Detailed engineering design of 800MMSCFD gas transmission

pipeline from Escravos to Oben including a gas treatment plant at

warri.

Detail scope:

  • Review of project handover documents and preparation of deliverables in accordance with relevant codes and standards i.e. API, GPSA and Client standards like DEPs.
  • Preparation of Design studies and philosophies.
  • Carry out simulation studies ie hydraulic and hydrate studies, blow down and depressurization studies etc using Hysys.
  • Performing Process Capacity Checks through filter Separator sizing, lines, sump vessels, control valves and restriction orifices calculation notes.
  • Development and review of P&IDs, PFDs, line list, valve list etc

INTEGRATED FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (ADDAX) 2008

Scope of work: Addax Petroleum Development (Nigeria) Ltd operates Block OML 123, offshore Nigeria. Production from the fields in OML 123-Akam, Adanga, Bogi, Ebughu, Mimbo, Ukam and Oron is directed to an FPSO at the Antan terminal for final processing, storage and export.

Production from the Adanga North ‘A’ Wellhead Platform will flow via AND-B to export.

Gas lift requirements will be provided from the Gas Lift Separator on Adanga PP via ADN-C to ADN-A.

Adanga North ‘A’ is an unmanned wellhead platform providing minimal test and productions facilities to allow for the production to be exported. The design will be based on the most stringent requirements and most of the equipment will be sized for this duty.
