The Communications Specialist supports the mass enablement of suppliers onto Ariba’s Quadrem Network for Buyer Customers and identifies new ways to communicate with sellers in a digital age to build and strengthen our Network customer base. The Communications Specialist works closely with and under the direction of the Network Operations Manager. The Communications Specialist will execute ongoing email marketing campaigns to migrate suppliers onto the Network. This role involves some day to day email and telephonic interaction with suppliers. Part of the responsibility of this individual in the enablement process will include the setup and coordination of Virtual Summits from a presales and training perspective. The Communications Specialist will also ensure the continuation of the Quarterly Supplier Newsletter and online business collateral. This role will work with cross functional teams to support the requirements of the Ariba growth strategy and provide administrative support as required to achieve requisite regional revenue targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Acting as a Fully Operational Back-up trainer for current Enablement Projects. Managing the digital communication strategy for Mass Onboarding campaigns. Reporting associated with digital campaigns The setup and coordination of Virtual Summits and in some cases hosting the Summit Responsible for all associated administration and reporting associated with Virtual Summits, including the invitations; co-ordination of speakers and other participants; as well as attendance reporting for internal stakeholders The collation of articles from the various internal sources for the newsletter and will be responsible for the quarterly release to the network community Knowledge of the Quadrem Network and Ariba Network environments and associated solutions Adept at appropriately escalating issues within and across teams
Education / Experience Minimum of five years of experience in a training delivery, sales, presales or marketing role, dealing with internal and external parties at all levels Experience within a fast paced, target driven environment. Face to Face contact with Decision-makers in Strategically assigned Companies Sales Experience in a business to business environment as well as knowledge of Supply Chain or procurement solutions will be advantageous.
