Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber was born March 1, 1994 in Stratford, Ontario. Discovered on YouTube, the then 13-year-old singer was introduced to Usher, who immediately helped him land a record deal with Island Def Jam.

The babyfaced singer's debut single, "One Time," was an international success, as was his debut album, My World. As "Bieber Fever" took the world by storm, he released its follow-up, My World 2.0, which debuted at the top of the Billboard charts. The album featured collaborations with Ludacris and Sean Kingston.

Although, in the last few years, his name was in headlines a lot and not always for the good reasons. Not so long ago he got his first ever police mugshot, been charged with DUI, been cleared by cops for hit-and-run incidents, accused of speeding and caught on camera peeing into a restaurant's mop bucket.

Add to this spitting on his own fans and reportedly being caught smoking weed.

As Bieber's popularity grew, he repeatedly made headlines by his transition from squeaky-clean teen phenom to a shirtless, controversy-courting young man. Here, we are going to light up his craziest scandals:

1994- 2011

Justin was born on March 1st 1994 by his 18-year old mother. His parents were never married but they maintained a close friendship to focus on giving Justin a future in music.

Bieber's current manager, Scooter Braun, first discovered him through his YouTube videos in 2007. Braun was impressed with the videos, which resulted in him contacting Bieber's mother, Patricia Mallette, about wanting to work with Bieber. Having convinced his mother to work with him, Braun arranged for Bieber to meet with Usher. As a result, Bieber was signed to RBMG, a record label based in Atlanta.

Already by 2008 Bieber has released his debut album My World which immediately went platinum and an ordinary teenage boy became the most popular teenage boy in the world.

In 2011 Justin, 16 at that time, started to date Selena Gomez, who was 18.
